DHIGURAH
The island of Dhigurah is in Alif Dhaal Atoll of the Maldives. It is about 100 km from the airport and the capital - Male' City.
The length of the island of Dhigurah is about 3 kilometers, and the maximum width is only 250 meters.
Dhigurah is known for its beautiful underwater world. This is one of the places where you can see a large number of whale sharks (harmless to humans as they only eat planctons), rare sea turtles, giant rays, colorful fishes and colorful congestion of coral reefs at arm's length. Here live fish-needle, fish napoleon (can grow upto 2 meters), parrot fish. Simply put more than 1000 species of fish and other marine creatures.
